La notizia era già stata ufficializzata durante gli American Music Awards dello scorso anno, quando le due storiche boyband americane (ormai ex-boyband…) i New Kids on the Block e i Backstreet Boys annunciarono l’inizio di una collaborazione artistica sotto l’acronimo NKOTBSB.
Oggi finalmente cominciano a vedersi i primi frutti di quello che sarà il nuovo progetto di questo incredibile supergruppo. Infatti sta per uscire in Europa il nuovo album omonimo che racchiuderà i più grandi successi delle due band americane oltre ad un paio di inediti scritti a…18 mani! Tra questi ci sarà sicuramente “Don’t turn out the lights”, il primo singolo già pubblicato qualche mese fa. Nel frattempo i NKOTBSB hanno reso noto che il loro primo tour insieme partirà nel 2012 dal Regno Unito. Backstreet Boys e New Kids on the Block hanno venduto nella loro storia qualcosa come 200 milioni di dischi in tutto il mondo. Riusciranno i nostri eroi a rinverdire i fasti del passato?
